On Friday, it’s …
PAC-12 CHAMPIONSHIP GAME -- UTAH vs. OREGON (at Santa Clara, CA)
Utah’s an electric 9-3 ATS (against the spread) overall this season and that includes an 8-1 spread mark in league play. Note that the Utes vault their way into this tilt riding an eight-game ATS winning streak; Oregon is a dead-even but vig-losing 6-6 against the odds in 2019 and the Ducks are an ugly 3-11-1 ATS as dogs the past three-plus seasons.
On Saturday, it’s …
BIG 12 CHAMPIONSHIP GAME – BAYLOR vs. OKLAHOMA (at Arlington, TX)
Oklahoma is 5-7 ATS overall this year and did you know the Sooners have failed to cover six-of-nine league games this season?; Baylor is 8-4 against Mr. Vig this year and the Bears are a stylish 7-2 spreadwise in Big 12 play here in ’19.
SEC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME – Georgia vs. LSU (at Atlanta)
LSU’s 7-4-1 spreadwise in this glorious season and that includes a modest 4-3-1 ATS log in SEC affairs; Georgia – 7-5 ATS this year including 5-3 spreadwise in league action – has covered six of its last eight games when in the underdog role.
BIG 10 CHAMPIONSHIP GAME – Wisconsin vs. Ohio State (at Indianapolis)
Ohio State is 9-3 spreadwise overall this year, 7-2 vig-wise in Big 10 games and 12-6-1 ATS away since the start of 2017; Wisconsin is 7-5 against the Las Vegas prices overall and just 4-5 ATS when playing other Big 10 foes this year.
ACC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME – Virginia vs. Clemson (at Charlotte)
Wow! The Clemson Tigers are a 29.5-point betting favorite for this game to crown an ACC champ and note the orange crushers have covered nine of their first dozen games this season including a 7-1 spread mark against conference foes; Virginia’s 6-6 against the price tags this year and the Wahoos are 4-4 ATS versus league opponents. Note Virginia is a rock-solid 6-3 ATS as pups since the start of last year.

NFL NEWS / NOTES
Let’s admit it:
The Seattle Seahawks entered the Monday Night Football showdown against the 3-point underdog Minnesota Vikings as a basic “afterthought” when it came time to discuss the NFL’s best teams … but Pete Carroll’s crew exited the MNF game a 37-30 winner, tied with fellow 10-and-2 team San Francisco for first place in the NFC West and sitting (for now) as the #2 seed in the NFC playoff picture: Remember the current #1 NFC playoff seed New Orleans Saints copped a 33-27 win in the great northwest way back in Week 3 action.
The ‘Hawks on Monday Night overcame a wacky batted ball pick-six by the Vikes and a late-game threat from Minnesota (8-4) – now “running the table” for Seattle may be uber-tough with road games at the Los Angeles Rams and at Carolina these next two weeks followed by season-ending home games versus Arizona and San Francisco but #1 seed N’Orleans doesn’t have it easy either (home to San Francisco and Indianapolis, then road tilts at Tennessee and Carolina) and the aforementioned 49ers are at New Orleans this weekend, home to Atlanta and then the LA Rams and then the will play a Week 17 game in Seattle.
Yes, it’s quite likely that a 12-4 team from San Fran or Seattle will be on the road in the NFC Wild Card weekend against a 7-9 Dallas team – imagine that?
