HERE'S THE NFL PRESEASON WEEK 1 MENU
AND JIM HURLEY'S READY TO SMOKE THE VEGAS BOOKS
RIGHT HERE FROM THE START!!!

Let's get it on! The 2019 NFL Preseason starts up in earnest this evening with a jam-packed schedule - that's 11 games, folks - from coast-to-coast and we'll be weighing in with a "one-liner" for each / every game but let's remind everyone out there this is the start of six-plus months of football ... You know that you don't have to "play" every game on the sked. Got it?

Network's Thursday Night Preseason Kickoff Action Plays
Pre-Season Lines Squeak... I Roar!

11 Games in Action Thursday Night, and I'VE GOT THE WINNERS!
Won the HOF Game with Broncos / Falcons UNDER!
Thursday really kicks of the first full weekend of preseason action,
and what a good card it is!

NEW YORK JETS at NEW YORK GIANTS - 7 p.m. ET, NFL Network
The Giants - a 1.5-point "home" underdog, at last check - are not committing to playing any offensive starters here, so gotta believe first-round rookie draftee QB Daniel Jones (Duke) will get in a few series against new-look Jets defense that'll sure to be bringing some blitzes (see new DC Gregg Williams).

INDIANAPOLIS at BUFFALO - 7 p.m. ET
The Las Vegas price on this game has swung from Bills favored by a deuce to Colts minus 2.5 points even though QB Andrew Luck won't suit up here with his calf injury that may or may not keep 'em out of the start of the regular season. So, Jacoby Brissett and Chad Kelly figure to take the majority of snaps here and the Bills say RB LeSean McCoy will sit here, then start next week in Carolina.

NEW ENGLAND at DETROIT - 7:30 p.m. ET
The Pats and Lions have been scrimmaging against one another for days - so Motowners (+1) know they'll be seeing plenty of backup QBs Brian Hoyer and rookie Jarrett Stidham (Auburn) from New England and none of that guy named Tom Brady.

WASHINGTON at CLEVELAND - 7:30 p.m. ET
Nobody's getting more hyped for this '19 season than the Cleveland Browns but - let us be the first to tell you - the team's defense is gonna have to show up this year and already there's red flags for DE Myles Garrett who's been missing time with a knee issue.

ATLANTA (0-1) at MIAMI - 7:30 p.m. ET
It's always interesting to see if teams coming off the Hall of Fame Game have the "advantage" from playing in that tilt but the Falcons already are down one backup quarterback after Kurt Benkert (toe) was hurt after throwing for 185 yards against the Broncos.

TENNESSEE at PHILADELPHIA - 7:30 p.m. ET
The Eagles claim QB Carson Wentz is "100 percent" after his knee injuries suffered the past two years and so Super Bowl-winning head coach Doug Pederson has been tempted to play 'em a few plays (we don't think it'll happen) while veteran LT Jason Peters probably sits here so rookie OT Andre Dillard (Washington State) gets plenty of reps. Note Philly opened as a 3.5-point fav, it dropped to 3 points and has stayed there for days.

JACKSONVILLE at BALTIMORE - 7:30 p.m. ET
Let's face it: The Jaguars have some real question marks at wide receiver (again) and things aren't getting any better with the real prospects that both starting wide outs Marqise Lee and Dede Westbrook are doubtful for this clash. Note the totals price has dropped from 34.5 to 31.5 points.

HOUSTON at GREEN BAY - 8 p.m. ET
There's already bad blood here ever since Texans' rookie Lonnie Johnson, Jr. (Kentucky) popped off the helmet of a Packers' player in a Monday practice. Green Bay - a 2-point home favorite here - may wish to go after Johnson here with some deep balls but it probably won't be QB Aaron Rodgers doing the tossing.

CAROLINA at CHICAGO - 8 p.m. ET
The Bears are being listed as an 11-to-1 or 12-to-1 choice to win the Super Bowl this winter and if this NFC North crew is gonna make it there than a defense that ranked first in the league in rushing defense (80 ypg) and third in the NFL in total defense (299.7 ypg) must shine ... new CB Ha Ha Clinton-Dix is expected to man the strong safety spot for Chicago but he could sit here with a balky knee.

LOS ANGELES CHARGERS at ARIZONA - 10 p.m. ET
Folks are wondering how long Cardinals rookie QB Kyler Murray - yes, Mr. Heisman Trophy from Oklahoma - is gonna play here but be reminded that the 'Zona second-string slinger is former Green Bay dud Brett Hundley. Still, the Cards are 2.5-point betting favorites. Hmmm.

DENVER (1-0) at SEATTLE - 10 p.m. ET
The Broncos are armed with the league's first preseason win / cover of the summer as last week's comeback 14-10 win against 2.5-point pup Atlanta featured three Denver quarterbacks not named Joe Flacco throwing for only 112 yards ... maybe Mizzou rookie Drew Lock is gonna have to show something here or quickly drop down the Bronco depth charts.

Tonight I'm looking at 3 plays that rate high enough to build your August bankroll, and you'll get them for just $15. CLICK HERE or call 1-800-323-4453
