Dodgers -140 Favorites To Win World Series That Begins Tuesday Night Against Astros

#6 Ohio State (6-1) 6-Point Favorite Over #2 Penn State (7-0) Saturday Night In Showdown Game With Strong Implications Whether Either Will Compete For Title

By Kelso Sturgeon

There are many things to ponder in getting ready for another busy week of handicapping college football, the NFL and Major League Baseball's World Series and the NBA. First things first.

The World Series begins Tuesday night in Los Angeles where the National League champion Dodgers (111-59) meet the American League champion Houston Astros (108-65) in game one of the best-of-7 round. The series will be played on a 2-3-2 format. This is Houston's first every trip to the World Series and Los Angeles' first since 1988 when they beat the Oakland Athletics 4-games-to-1.

Bookmakers have installed Los Angeles as the -140 favorite and made the underdog Astros +120. That means bettors who like the Dodgers to win the championship must lay $140 to win $100 while those who bet Houston can collect $120 for each $100 wagered. The Dodgers are -170 to win the first game.

Pitching for Los Angeles will be ace left-hander Clayton Kershaw (18-4, 2.31) while Houston will counter with the very talented left, Dallas Keuchel (14-5 2.90). Kershaw is 2-0 with an ERA of 3.63 in this post season while Keuchel is 2-1, with an ERA of 2.60. In short, the opener appears to have all the makings of a pitching duel between two of the best.

I had a very decent run through the regular baseball season and followed that up with success in the playoffs and intend to keep right on winning in the World Series. You can purchase my World Series Package for just $39, or play by the day for $15. Sign up now on this website or toll free at 1-800-755-2255 and starting winning Tuesday night.

In College Football

One of the biggest games of the season will be played Saturday night in Columbus when #6 Ohio State (6-1) hosts #2 and undefeated Penn State (7-0). The Buckeyes opened as a 6.5-point favorite and are now -6. This game will require some serious in-depth handicapping. Ohio State has beaten one team with a winning record - Army at 6-2) and lost to the only ranked team it played - Oklahoma 31-16 in Columbus as an 8-point favorite. Penn State has simply mowed down the Michigan Wolverines, 42-13, in University Park this past Saturday. Of note is the fact Ohio State did have a bye last week.

Teams in major bounce-back form in games this Saturday...

MICHIGAN which lost 42-13 at Penn State last week is a 24-point home favorite over Rutgers.
SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA which lost at Notre Dame 49-14 is a 2.5-point favorite at Arizona State.
SAN DIEGO STATE which lost at home 27-3 to Fresno State is 9-point favorite at Hawaii.

A meeting of the completely and totally hopeless...

SAN JOSE STATE (1-7) at BYU (1-7) - This is the worst BYU team in decades. The Cougars, who average just 12.1 points per game, showed just how terrible their offense is last week when they lost at East Carolina 33-17 to a team that in its previous seven games gave up an average of 50.0 points, It is of note BYU is also 0-8 against the number. San Jose State has beaten only I-AA Cal Poly this season 34-13 has in its last six games averaged 12.5 points per game while giving up 46.0. BYU is a 14-point point home favorite against the Spartans Saturday and if you're looking for trouble, this game is tailor-made for you.

50 Unit Bet On Giant NFL Rivalry Game Tonight
Washington Redskins (3-2) Are At Philadelphia (5-1) Tonight To Take On Red-Hot Eagles Who Are Going For 5th Straight Win

The Philadelphia Eagles surprisingly have the best record in the NFL and are 5-point favorites - up from -4 - to take the measure of the Washington Redskins tonight but seldom does anything come easy in this heated rivalry. While the Eagles beat the Redskins, 30-17, as a 2-point favorite in Washington in their first meeting this season, that means little when these two get together.

For instance the Redskins are 8-3 against the spread in their last 11 games as a road underdog and the +5 certainly makes this contest a dead-even affair. I am coming into this game off a 5-1-1 NFL Sunday, including winning my 50-unit Game of the Week with the Jacksonville Jaguars (-3) which knocked off the Indianapolis Colts, 27-0. I intend to keep right on winning tonight and am releasing this game as a 50-unit play. Win it with me for just $25, charged to your major credit card or to Pay Pal.

Going For 2nd Straight 50-Unit NBA Winner Tonight
I Won My Last 50-Unit NBA Bet Saturday When The Clippers Buried The Suns by 42 Points 130-88 And Tonight It's Another Blowout

Frankly speaking it took me a day or two to figure out his season's NBA teams and have been winning ever since. There are eight games on the schedule tonight and a team in one of them grades out as another blowout winner. The team I am releasing has put it all together after struggling a bit early and qualifies as a double power play in this spot. Win this one with me for just $20, charged to your major credit card. As were the Clippers on Saturday, this team presents and opportunity to break the bank.
