Earlier this week, I talked about how quickly Deshaun Watson has made an impact in the NFL as a rookie quarterback for the Houston Texans. This coming Monday Night, Mitchell Trubisky of the Chicago Bears has a chance to make headlines when they visit divisional rival Minnesota.
Will Trubisky be an immediate difference-maker? Will WAYNE ALLYN ROOT be investing heavily throughout the rest of the season on both Houston and Chicago because the market is always so stubborn about respecting new quarterbacks? I can’t tell you here in my web article whether or not I’ll be releasing the Bears as a play. As I write, the game isn’t even on the board yet! Chicago knows who its quarterback is going to be…but Minnesota doesn’t. Sam Bradford might be able to come back. If not, Case Keenum will get the call again.
I will tell you this. I think Trubisky has a shot to be a value player for bettors as he learns the ropes this season. What’s become very clear in recent seasons is that “stationary” pocket passers just coming out of college have trouble because it’s difficult to read defenses at high speed right away. But, mobile quarterbacks like Trubisky who can run out of trouble to move the chains can get things done.
*We’ve already seen that with Deshaun Watson this season
*We saw it with Dak Prescott last season
*It was the secret behind Colin Kaepernick leading SF to a Super Bowl despite inexperience
Trubisky may not be as fast as those guys. But, if you’ve followed his career, you’ve surely noticed that he has great instincts for when to take off with the ball when nothing’s there downfield. Most defenses don’t “assign” anyone to shadow the quarterback UNTIL he’s proven he can run. That’s why there’s so much open space when somebody like Watson or Prescott takes off. Trubisky at least has a chance to be a positive factor, with an outside chance of being a VERY positive factor until defenses get a feel for his tendencies.
Part of the key to beating the betting markets is recognizing when something special might be about to happen. If you’re ahead of the curve…there’s a lot of free money coming your way while the market slowly catches up.
The bad news for Bears fans and Trubisky is that starting out a pro career on the ROAD against MINNESOTA is not the ideal way to move the ball and build confidence! Why not a home game against a soft defense?! I can assure you I’ll at least be watching Bears/Vikings very closely. You’ll have to be a customer to see if a formal play is released.
Hey…maybe he’s NOT ready. Maybe we’ll have to wait a year, the way many smart bettors have with Jared Goff of the Los Angeles Rams. Goff needed a season of seasoning and a new head coach to bring out his best. As much as there is to like about Trubisky based on his skill set, and his Preseason performances, he’s still a question mark until he gets on the field and starts providing answers.
Oddsmakers have been underestimating certain styles of quarterback for years. They’ve been underestimating WAYNE ALLYN ROOT for decades! That’s how I became THE KING OF LAS VEGAS and the only man in the sports betting industry with a star on the “Walk of Fame” here in town. My ROOT TRUST has been on a great run the past two weeks. And, we’re just now reaching the sweet spot in college football where too many contenders get overconfident and complacent. You think all of these different “Final Four” possibilities are going to stay undefeated for another month? Not going to happen.
I have some very special UPSET CALLS on tap this weekend in both college and pro football. I know when to throw deep for a TD, or when to scramble for value. You can purchase all the smart investments in THE ROOT TRUST right here at the website with your credit card. If you have any questions about which of my services best suits your individual needs, please talk to one of my representatives in the Vegas-Sports-Masters office at 1-888-777-4155.
Don’t forget that the baseball playoffs are already going strong. I’ll have special select opportunities for my clients over the next several days. I won’t pick every game. But, I will find the best dog or small favorite plays when they come up (I won with the Astros -130 over Boston in Game 1 of their series). If you read my articles through the summer, you’re aware that I know all about the strengths and weaknesses of the Dodgers…of the Yankees…and of the teams who made the most money for their backers during the regular season. Ask my representative about combination packages that include baseball.
See you again next week to talk more football. Now…it’s time for you to go to W.A.R. alongside WAYNE ALLYN ROOT!
