If You Like Any Of 4 Underdogs In NFL This Weekend To Win Straight Up, Why Not a Money Line Bet
Basketball Highrollers Going For 50-Unit 40-Point Win Today In College Mismatch Of Month
By Kelso Sturgeon
It is no secret the National Football League playoffs begin today as the march to the Super Bowl moves front and center in the minds of fans and bettors. While fans have strong rooting interests, this is just another weekend of football for bettors who do not permit themselves to fall in love with any team. Their focus is on winning a bet in a world where sentiment is not part of that equation.
In the first of today's games, the Kansas City Chiefs are 3-point favorites over host Houston, with a total of 40. KC is going for its 11th straight win after opening the season 1-5 and it must be noted the Chiefs are 0-8 in post-season games over the last 22 years. Expect both teams to try to win it on the ground.
In the second game, Pittsburgh (10-6) is a 3-point favorite at Cincinnati (12-4) mainly because the latter will be without starting quarterback Andy Dalton (broken thumb on passing hand). Back-up A.J. McCarron, playing in just his second NFL season, will again start. He has played in even games this season, completing 79% of his passes for 854 yards and six touchdowns with two interceptions
It is of note the Bengals have never won a post-season game under coach who has been at the helm for 13 seasons.
Pittsburgh will also be without starting running back DeAngelo Williams (ankle injury) who has rushed for 907 yards and 11 touchdowns this season. A personal observation/question: Am I the only one who thinks, seriously, that Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, is having some kind of brain issue? As brilliant as he has been, in his most recent games he has attempted passes so questionable and off-target to not wonder if something is not wrong. Just my thought.
While Pittsburgh is the post-season as a wild-card team, it must be noted the last time they won the Super Bowl, beating Arizona, 27-23, in 2008 they were a wild-card team.
Why Not The Money Line?
Bettors sometimes miss opportunities to win at a better price, seemingly locked into the world of lay 11-10, when, for instance a money line play is a better bet. While the four NFL wild-card games are being offered at short numbers, three of the games offer good prices on the underdogs.
If you like any of three underdogs to win straight up, here is what you will get for your money.
Houston is +130 against Kansas City
Cincinnati is +120 against Pittsburgh
Minnesota is +175 against Seattle
If you are confident any one of these three 'dogs will win straight up, betting the money line most certainly beats laying the $11 to win $10.

It goes without saying I have put everything I have in handicapping skills and insights into this package and intend to win every single play. I closed out the NFL regular season last Sunday, going 4-1, winning the big money with a 100-unit play on the Pittsburgh Steelers (-12.5) 28-12 at Cleveland. I head into this weekend hitting 74% winners with my 50-unit and 100-unit basketball plays, standing 17-7-2.

The biggest single factor in winning 50-unit and 100-unit basketball games is the power vs. weakness element of the handicapping process - taking teams that completely outclass their opponents, regardless of where they stand on the overall spectrum of the game. It has produced a 17-7-2 record (74% winners) since December 1 and it should improve on that today with an outright power vs. weakness mismatch. In handicapping this game, the numbers were rather surprising predicting a 40-point win by the power team, although that is not reflected in a rather soft betting line. I am confident I will take down the money with this 50-unit mismatch play today and you can win it with me for just $35, click here.
Going For My Second Straight 3-0 Day With Under-The-Radar Teams Where The Edges Are Huge
There are the three games I won Thursday night and you can see none of them will ever challenge Kansas or Duke for attention.
15 Units…Marshall (-11.5) 90, Florida Atlantic 67 (W)
10 Units…Towson (+3.5) 76, NC-Wilmington 60 (W)
5 Units…Idaho State (-2.0) 83, Northern Colorado (W)
I have found three more Under-the-Radar teams Saturday and intend to win them all.
Win along with me today as the betting lines, according to my numbers, have been overpriced by the linesmaker, with the lines off by 3-4 points in each contest.
