Words I promise to never utter again: "I have seen it all". No use kidding you or me and I say that after more than 40 years of handicapping, especially after the experiences of the past week.
Let me mention a few.

  1. When was the last time you were leading by 35 points, 49-14, laying 3.5 with 12 minutes to go in a college football game and lost the bet? It happened this past Wednesday when Central Michigan, playing Western Kentucky in the Bahamas Bowl, scored 35 points in those 12 minutes and lost by one point, 49-48, and got the most improbable cover in history
  2. When was the last time you saw a college basketball team open a game with a 39-0 run? It happened this past week as Oklahoma hosted Weber State. Say, what. This was a new NCAA record, replacing Utah State's 37-0 opening against Idaho in February of 2006. Final score: Oklahoma 85, Weber State 51.
  3. When was the last time, in a meeting of two nationally-ranked teams see one of them open a 39-8 half-time lead? It happened this past week when a somewhat overly rated Harvard team felt the wrath of Virginia, losing, 76-27.
  4. When was the last time two power-house college basketball teams met and one opened up a 24-0 lead and led 28-2 with 7:41 left in the first half? It happened this past week in a game in which Kentucky buried UCLA, 83-42.

This all happened in the past few days and we now await similar surprises this week.

Battle Of Unbeatens Kentucky (12-0) at Louisville (11-0) Highlights 3-0 Basketball Saturday
College basketball does not get much better than the annual games between interstate rivals Kentucky (12-0) and Louisville (11-0) but this year is really something special. First of all, the fact neither of these teams have lost speaks for itself. Then there are those rankings. Kentucky holds down the #1 spot while Louisville weighs in at #4. Knowing a lot about this rivalry, you can bet your bottom dollar both these teams will cone to play and bring their Triple-A games. It was quite a challenge to handicap this game, which will be played at Louisville, but I found 2-3 things that tilt this game towards one of these teams. Win this 15-unit play, plus two other games, for just $15, charged to your major credit card. Better yet, get on board for an entire season of Best Bets Basketball Investment Club plays for just $199-and that includes both the colleges and the NBA.

Close Out NFL Regular Season With 3 Knockout Winners
Each year in the 17th and final week of the NFL regular season, confusion reigns in every single game, whether it involves teams trying to get into the playoffs and teams already eliminated from the post season. Still, there will be a pointspread winner in every single game-it just takes a little more work to find them. I have found three games today where the element of circumstance/situation will rule the day and I am releasing each of them to my Bet Bets Football Investment Club clients-confident I will go 3-0. Get these three closing day winners for just $25, charged to your major credit card, and head into the playoffs with a nice bankroll.

100-Unit NFL Grand Finale Game Gets It Done
All 32 NFL teams are in action today as the NFL closes out the regular season and heads to the playoffs. Some need to win to just get into the playoffs, while others are playing for a first-round bye or a better seed. And then there are meaningless games in which both teams have been eliminated from the playoffs and are playing with nothing to gain by winning. In this mixed up weekend there is at least one team I know intends to show up and go for it while meeting an opponent satisfied to just go through the motions, get it over with and head for home. This presents and obvious opportunity to cash a nice ticket and I am releasing the winners as a 100-unit play. Win this one for $75, charged to your major credit card.

50-Unit College Basketball Stunner Takes Down big Money
There are just 17 college basketball teams on the schedule today and at least four or five of the games involve teams that the edges are there to win a bet. With that said, there is just one game in which one of the teams is ready to fire its best shot and, as a modest favorite, should stun the world with an unexpected blowout win. Get this knockout highrollers winner for just $50, charged to your major credit card.
