By Kelso Sturgeon
The 2014 college football season begins Thursday night with 14 games highlighted by two nationally televised games—the first matching Texas A&M with South Carolina in Columbia and the second finding Boise State and Mississippi tangling on a neutral field at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. The curtain falls on five straight days and 81 games Monday night when Louisville hosts Miami.
Forty-eight of the 81 games will be on national television with four giant matchups on Saturday—Clemson at Georgia (ESPN), Arkansas at Auburn (SEC Network), Florida state vs. Oklahoma State (ABC) at Dallas Cowboys Stadium in Arlington and LSU meeting Wisconsin (ESPN) at NRG Stadium (formerly Reliant Stadium) in Houston.
There is no doubt in my mind this is the best first-week schedule in the history of college football and it is most certainly loaded with opportunities to cash some big tickets. I know for certain I will be releasing two big-game plays during the first week. On Thursday night, I will be going for the big bucks with a 50-unit play on the Boise State-Ole Miss game on Thursday night and with my traditional 100-unit College Kickoff Blowout Game of the Year (6-1 the past seven years) on Saturday

50-Unit Bookmaker’s Mistake Crushes Number Friday Night
I have owned the first month of the college football season for the past several years simply because I am far more prepared for it than are linemakers and bookmakers—gentlemen that make their betting lines on what happened last year, never taking the time to analyze teams as they are now, today. There is a game on the Friday night schedule with a number so soft it invites a major play and I am going to do just that, releasing a team that is under-valued by bookmakers by at least a touchdown. You can get all the cash with this team tonight and keep right on building that bankroll for Saturday’s 100-unit College Kickoff Blowout Game of the Year game. This one is just $50, charged to your major credit card.

100-Unit College Kickoff Game Should Win By 5 Touchdowns
There are many games on the Saturday football schedule that are certain to be heart-stopping barn-burners and, as usual, I will avoid all those games like the plague. When I handicap I am not looking to be a hero by hoping to get lucky and win a game that figures to go right to the money. Not me, my friend, I am not looking for a contest but a game in which the power vs. weakness factor is so strong the possibility of a blowout is obvious at least to me. We have just such a game today and I am releasing it as my 100-unit College Kickoff Blowout Game of the Year—a contest I started releasing seven years ago and stand 6-1 in them. The team I am releasing on Saturday has 44-of-the-47 elements I use in analyzing college games and grades out as at least a 5-touchdown winner. You can get all the cash with me again with this 100-unit play for just $50, charged to your major credit card.
Alabama-West Virginia Highlights 3-0 National TV Saturday
As already noted in this newsletter, 48 of the 81 Week 1 college football ball games are on national television and I have a very strong feeling on three of them. Highlight of the weekend in this special TV package will be a 25-unit play on Alabama vs. West Virginia (ABC) from the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. I will also being going for 10-unit wins with the other two games—Penn State vs. Central Florida (ESPN2) from Dublin, Ireland, and Florida State vs. Oklahoma State (ABC) from Arlington, Texas. Win all 3 games for just $25.
Sunday, August 31
Win 15-Unit National TV Play Sunday Night
There are two nationally televised games on the college scheduled—Utah State at Tennessee (SEC Network) and SMU at Baylor (Fox Sports 1)—and I will be releasing one of them as a knockout 15-unit play, quite confident I will get the cash. Win this one for just $15, charged to your major credit card.

Coaches’ College Showdown Wins At 25 Units Monday Night
Miami at Louisville (ESPN)
I am very opinionated on college football coaches and love games in which they face one another and we certainly have two standout coaches in action tonight—Bobby Petrino for Louisville and Al Golden for Miami—and that means football at its absolute best. This nationally televised (ESPN) Monday night affair should be quite a chess match but in the end talent will prevail and I know which one of these teams has got that going for it. Win this 25-unit release for just $25, charged to your major credit card.
